Position Summary:
The Logistics Associate's primary function is to use a small industrial vehicle to transport materials to and from the correct storage areas.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Start your day off right by attending pre-shift get-togethers, which may entail completing stretches as a group.
- Operate a forklift safely and effectively to ensure optimum productivity.
- Conduct a thorough forklift inspection every day and halt its operation immediately upon detecting any anomaly.
- Improve the quality of your shipped and received items by completing thorough Quality Reassurance Checks.
- Remain alert to detect any safety concerns or infringements on the property and respond with appropriate measures.
- Complete all necessary paperwork with attention to detail and carefulness.
- Precisely fulfill customer orders while carefully adhering to any unique requirements the customer may have.
- Collaborate closely with office personnel to guarantee the accurate completion of discrepancies and contentious matters.
- Effective management of damages, pallet storage, and warehouse cleanliness can streamline work processes and enhance productivity.
- Promote a positive work culture by encouraging courteous and productive communication to enhance teamwork.
- The maintenance of safe work practices, adherence to GMP guidelines, cleanliness, and product quality preservation is critical. To prevent food safety, staff safety, or product quality issues, management must be alerted to any conditions or practices that may lead to these concerns
- At MFI, it is my job to ensure that all products meet stringent safety and quality regulations.
- The strict observance of safety guidelines and procedures is necessary.
- Complete any remaining duties as delegated.
Qualifications:
The job requirements include a particular standard of education and experience, and to be considered for the role, the candidate must meet these prerequisites:
- Applicants must possess a high school diploma, G.E.D, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Passing the forklift certification and completing the Powered Industrial Truck training program is essential for success.
- Possessing a strong command of the English language is integral to achieving success in both personal and professional endeavors.
- A good grasp of both math and configuration is essential
- The ability to evaluate the context and make an informed decision that advances the organization's goals without compromising the health and welfare of the workforce.
The candidate should possess a minimum of five years' experience in a related field. Experience in a similar industry is preferred. This could include roles such as a marketing specialist, a sales representative, or a customer service representative:
- Candidates who have worked for at least six months in a warehouse setting that implements pallets are preferred.
- Sound communication skills with others are a must.
- Even though not necessitated for employment, having certification is advantageous. MFI offers P.I.T certification training to all distribution operators leading up to their employment.
