Position Summary:

Utilizing a small industrial vehicle, the Inventory Control Clerk must move materials between specified storage areas within the facility.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Participate in pre-shift gatherings, which might involve group stretches as a way to get ready for work.
  • Practice safe and productive forklift driving techniques to avoid accidents.
  • Thoroughly inspect the forklift on a daily basis and, if you notice any defects, take it out of operation without hesitation.
  • To prevent product damage and inaccuracies, make sure to complete Quality Reassurance Checks during shipment and receiving.
  • Remain alert to detect any safety concerns or infringements on the property and respond with appropriate measures.
  • Make sure that every required field on all documents is properly filled in and confirmed.
  • Ensure customer orders are accurately processed and any personalized requirements are thoroughly followed.
  • Collaborate extensively with the administrative team to guarantee precision and resolution of discrepancies and concerns.
  • The upkeep of a sorted, hygienic warehouse with the regular upkeep of pallets and damage control is crucial to streamline the work process.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting effective communication that encourages teamwork among and between teams.
  • The upholding of safe work practices, adherence to GMP regulations, maintenance of sanitary conditions, and the preservation of product quality is vital. Notify management immediately of any conditions or practices that may compromise food safety, personnel safety, or lead to the reduction of product quality
  • My job responsibilities include making sure that MFI products meet food safety and quality requirements.
  • Strict compliance with safety protocols and procedures is obligatory.
  • Complete any remaining duties as delegated.

Qualifications:

The company is looking for a candidate with particular educational and vocational qualifications for the position. Meeting these requirements is essential to be considered for the role:

  • A suitable applicant must have a high school diploma, G.E.D, or an equivalent educational and occupational background
  • To operate Heavy Industrial Trucks safely and efficiently, completion of the Powered Industrial Truck training program and forklift certification are essential.
  • Improving English language proficiency can be a lifelong pursuit, but offers numerous benefits, including enhanced employability and broader cultural awareness.
  • A solid comprehension of math and configuration is required
  • The ability to evaluate the context and make an informed decision that advances the organization's goals without compromising the health and welfare of the workforce.

The ideal candidate must possess a combination of education, experience and skills that are relevant to the job position. This includes a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field and a few years of relevant experience in a similar work environment:

  • Having worked in a palletized warehouse environment for a minimum period of six months is preferred.
  • Strong inter-relational skills are needed to succeed.
  • Certification is not a prerequisite when applying for the position; however, it is a plus. During the commencement of their employment, all distribution operators are offered certified P.I.T. training by MFI.
