The role of a Cashier Clerk requires excellent customer service skills, efficient and accurate handling of transactions, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities:

• Accepts responsibility for opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks assigned and ensures that all duties are undertaken competently and promptly. Additionally, this person is responsible for verifying the accuracy of the signage and pricing.
• Demonstrates a strong mastery of the Front-End Code Book and PLUs: Possesses exceptional communication skills, a sound understanding of mathematical concepts, and a willingness to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• A key competency required in the workforce is being able to communicate information in a clear and respectful way to team members, customers, and vendors.
• Customer satisfaction is achieved through consistent efforts of meeting expectations and standards of customer service in all interactions with Team Members, vendors, and customers.
• The ability to follow procedures and directives competently is vital. Successful applicants should have adequate organizational and time management abilities, regardless of whether they have prior retail experience or not.
• Capability to work efficiently in a wet and chilly ambiance.
• The candidate is expected to show flexibility when it comes to working hours, including weekends, evenings, or holidays.
• Skilled and knowledgeable in the usage of various tools and equipment, including but not limited to box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
