Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Electrical Technician is to maintain and troubleshoot the electrical systems within the production plant, ensuring safe and efficient operation at all times.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

General

• The selected applicant must be driven by self-motivation and possess a high level of autonomy.
• Being able to respond effectively and appropriately to fluctuating priorities in a high-pressure environment is essential.
• Be open-minded and avoid judging others' experiences and perspectives.
• Ensure safety at the workplace by following safe work practices, conducting monthly safety audits, adhering to GMP guidelines, maintaining sanitary conditions, and monitoring product quality. Inform management if there are any concerns about food safety, quality, or employee safety.
• Keep all stakeholders, including management, suppliers, peers, and production workers, informed about the state of any ongoing tasks or projects with complete transparency and honesty.

Technical

• Utilize specialized software and hardware solutions when conducting diagnostic tests to quickly and accurately determine the root cause of any electrical problems.
• Optimize issue resolution by drawing upon the strengths of in-house and external resources in a coordinated fashion.
• A thorough understanding of electrical diagrams and product literature is indispensable for carrying out precise maintenance and repair work.
• Troubleshoot the hardware problems that affect the functioning of touchscreens and programmable logic controllers.
• When troubleshooting control networking issues, it can be helpful to test different scenarios to determine where the issue is occurring. This may involve disconnecting and reconnecting devices, testing different cables, or altering network settings.
• Undertake preventive maintenance measures in accordance with authorized maintenance plans and work orders.
• Educating individuals on technical electrical subsystems is a necessary and fundamental component of professional education.
• Continuously explore prospects for refining your processes.
• Work with management and engineering teams to provide support and recommendations for successful project completion.
• Lend a hand to mechanics whenever they need it.
• Handle any other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

This job necessitates a one-year degree or certification from a college or technical school, or an identical mix of education and hands-on practice.

EXPERIENCE :

Three years of industry-proven industrial electrical experience within a manufacturing setting, particularly in food processing plants, is required. The ideal candidate would have proficiency in welding, pneumatics and mechanical systems.
