Facility Cleaning Technician

Job Description:

The Facility Cleaning Technician's job is to maintain a clean and secure work environment for everyone by keeping the store and facility clean. Their day-to-day duties include performing regular cleaning tasks, fixing minor damages, and executing projects as required.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assigned tasks on the sanitation and upkeep checklists according to a regular schedule
• Stick to all the regulations set by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), cover all the required documentation for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), and daily operational sheets as instructed by the food safety plan
• Receive and process items from the store receiver.
• Follow the safety procedures that have been put in place for handling dangerous materials with care.
• Do not allow any dry or liquid trash to accumulate on the floor.
• Replace the disposable bags in the unfilled garbage bins.
• Accurately documenting your sweeping efforts is crucial for optimal cleaning results.
• Utilizing the proper protective equipment is a necessary precaution to avoid any potential harm.
• Keep ample supplies in storage and refrigerated areas.
• Enhance the appearance of your store displays by regularly dusting and wiping down shelves and items.
• Keep your windows and mirrors shining without much effort.
• Help all teams in maintaining cleanliness by participating in cleaning activities.
• A fundamental function of departmental assistants is to keep track of supplies and make sure they are always ready for use.
• It is necessary to keep all supply shelves supplied and free from dirt.
• Ensuring safe use of tools and equipment is essential for preventing accidents and injuries in the workplace.
• Neglecting to maintain and adequately store your equipment can lead to costly repairs and replacements in the future.
