Position Summary:

The Loading and Unloading Technician is responsible for using a small industrial vehicle to transfer materials to and from the proper storage zones.

Duties And Responsibilities:

• Be present for pre-shift meetings, which could involve engaging in group stretches as a warm-up.
• Utilize safe and productive practices while driving a forklift.
• Carry out the daily inspection of the forklift and take it out of use if any defects are identified.
• Protect your products from damage and ensure accuracy by performing Quality Reassurance Checks during shipment and receiving.
• Stay vigilant of the surroundings to prevent any safety hazards or breaches and take necessary actions.
• Ensure accuracy in filling out all documentation and forms, including double-checking all details.
• Pay attention to detail and execute customer orders with precision, including specific instructions provided by the customer.
• Align with the administrative staff to ensure the correct resolution of discrepancies and concerns.
• By ensuring proper management of damages and storage of pallets in bins, one can maintain a tidy, arranged warehouse with enhanced operations.
• Use friendly and positive communication to promote collaboration and teamwork within and between your teams.
• The preservation of food safety, personnel safety and product quality is paramount in adhering to safe work practices, adhering to GMP standards, and maintaining sanitary conditions. Any condition or practice that may compromise food safety, staff safety, or product quality should be reported to management
• As the overseer of MFI food safety and quality standards, I work to keep customers safe and satisfied.
• It is essential to adhere to all safety policies and procedures for the well-being of everyone.
• Attend to any other assignments as given.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Prerequisites:

• Successful candidates must have either a high school diploma, G.E.D, or a blend of education and relevant work experience
• The successful completion of the Powered Industrial Truck training program and forklift certification are crucial for anyone in the industry.
• Mastering the intricacies of the English language is crucial to effectively communicating through reading, writing, and speaking.
• A strong foundation in mathematics and configuration is a prerequisite
• The capability to analyze situations and determine the optimal course of action that promotes the company's interests while preserving the health and well-being of employees.

Experience:

• The eligibility criteria for this position include prior experience of six months or more in a warehouse that handles pallets.
• Adequate abilities in interpersonal relations are required.
• Having a certification is not essential for applying, but it's beneficial. When the distribution operator is hired, they will receive P.I.T. training and certification that's approved by MFI.
