Job Description:

The job calls for effectively ordering, replenishing, and merchandising prepared foods products. Participating in promotional programs and monitoring inventory control in this capacity are important duties. Additionally, organizing and developing promotional displays in compliance with required standards is essential. Providing courteous and efficient service, maintaining a positive company image, and following Standard Operating Procedures are all necessary. Being available to perform other duties, upholding core values, supporting store initiatives and complying with health and safety regulations are also required.

Responsibilities:

• Procures and replaces food items for kitchen use through proper procurement methods.
• Executes necessary actions on open purchase orders and credits with utmost accuracy and within the required timeframe.
• The control specialist plays a key role in achieving turn goals by minimizing shrinkage and spoilage.
• Documents any deviations related to spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets and provides necessary corrective actions.
• Helps with counter service and cooking work following the arranged schedule or when required.
• Partners with the Kitchen Manager/Chef and Team Leader to stay informed on ordering demands and any potential problems.
• Pursues collaborative and constructive communication with external vendors.
• Collaboratively works on calculating the recipe's cost with the Team Leader or Assistant Team Leader(s).
• Manages unique customer orders originating from overseas.
• Supports leaders in performing accurate inventory assessments.
• To ensure continued financial success, it is necessary to consistently meet or exceed targets for purchasing and sales.
• Starts the workday by showing up at the workplace punctually, dressed neatly, well-groomed, and prepared to conduct business, fulfilling all assigned shifts, and actively participating in required training and meeting obligations.
• Delivering exceptional customer service necessitates responding rapidly and effectively to customer needs while also employing suggestive selling tactics. Additionally, answering phone and page inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner is important.
• Advantages sales likelihood by utilizing productive and accurate procedures for preparing, organizing, cycling, supplying, and exhibiting products.
• Ensures adherence to established guidelines and protocols, like those regarding Weights and Measures, sanitation, and safety, to create a consistent and reliable work environment.
• Ensures that the working and shopping environment is kept impeccably clean and hygienic, while also making sure that all equipment is maintained as per WFM's safety and cleanliness guidelines.
• Examining signs and pricing to maintain accuracy is enabled by meticulous execution of assigned opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks.
• Without any hesitation, make sure to report safety hazards and violations immediately.
