Responsibilities:

The Facility Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for the upkeep of the electrical systems at the manufacturing plant, conducting maintenance and improvement tasks, and identifying and resolving any issues that arise.

There's a possibility to receive a bonus upon enrolling or registering.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

General

• Someone who is highly self-motivated and can work independently is the perfect fit for this role.

• Uphold safe working practices, conduct monthly safety checks, adhere to GMP regulations, maintain a clean environment, and ensure quality control of the products. In the event of practices or circumstances that may jeopardize food safety, personnel safety, or product quality, immediately notify the management.
• Maintain regular contact with management, suppliers, peers, and individuals working on production lines to convey the current status of assignments and any issues that may arise.

Technical

• Apply a range of techniques and diagnostic tools, such as multimeters and oscilloscopes, to diagnose basic electrical issues within the building.
• Make full use of both internal and external assets to expedite problem-solving.
• The aptitude to interpret technical documents and electrical diagrams is vital for effective troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Rectify hardware problems affecting the performance of machinery operated with PLCs and touchscreens.
• Basic network troubleshooting also involves implementing security measures to protect against threats such as malware and unauthorized access. This may involve using firewalls, antivirus software, and other security tools.
• Abide by approved maintenance schedules and work orders to perform preventive maintenance.
• Providing training sessions on technical content, especially electrical subsystems, is essential for professional enhancement.
• Stay vigilant in identifying areas where your operations could be improved.
• Give assistance to management and engineering departments in project planning and execution.
• Support mechanics when they seek assistance.
• Accomplish any supplementary duties as stipulated.

Qualifications:

EDUCATION:

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a one-year certification from a college or technical institution, or a comparable blend of educational and practical qualifications.

EXPERIENCE :

The position calls for an individual with three years of industrial electrical experience in manufacturing, with a preference for those who have worked in food processing plants. Knowledge of welding, pneumatics and mechanical systems is an added benefit.
