Starting wage: $20.00/Hr

Position Summary:

Utilizing a small industrial vehicle, the Fulfillment Specialist must move materials between specified storage areas within the facility.

Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Be present for pre-shift briefings that involve engaging in collective stretching routines to start your day off on the right foot.
  • Employ sound judgement and safe practices when operating a forklift to promote productivity.
  • Take the forklift out of use if any deficiencies are discovered during the daily inspection.
  • Protect the quality of your products by performing comprehensive Quality Reassurance Checks during the shipment and receiving processes.
  • Be mindful of safety issues or violations in the vicinity and take necessary actions to rectify them.
  • Take time to complete all required paperwork thoroughly and accurately, ensuring nothing is missed.
  • Execute customer orders with precision and thoroughly take note of any personalized requests to fulfill the order accurately.
  • Coordinate with the office staff to guarantee precision and resolution of discrepancies and concerns.
  • Maintaining a clean, sorted warehouse, regular upkeep of pallets stored correctly, and managing damages can promote safer working conditions.
  • Promote a positive work culture by encouraging courteous and productive communication to enhance teamwork.
  • The preservation of food safety, personnel safety and product quality is paramount in adhering to safe work practices, adhering to GMP standards, and maintaining sanitary conditions. Any condition or practice that may compromise food safety, staff safety, or product quality should be reported to management
  • At MFI, it is my job to ensure that all products meet stringent safety and quality regulations.
  • It is essential to adhere to all safety policies and procedures for the well-being of everyone.

Qualifications:

Educational and Vocational Qualifications:

  • The required qualifications for this job include a high school diploma or G.E.D, or commensurate education and practical experience
  • One of the most important steps to succeed in the industry is to complete the Powered Industrial Truck training program and pass forklift certification.
  • It is essential for non-native speakers of English to practice immersion techniques, such as reading English literature, listening to English music, and watching English films, in order to gain greater fluency in the language.
  • A mastery of mathematics and configuration is necessary
  • The expertise to analyze circumstances and determine the optimal choice that benefits the company without risking the health and welfare of employees.

Education:

  • Experience of six months or more in a palletized warehouse environment is a definite advantage for potential candidates.
  • Sound communication skills with others are a must.
  • Having a certification is not essential for applying, but it's beneficial. When the distribution operator is hired, they will receive P.I.T. training and certification that's approved by MFI.
