Job Description:

Employees who are newly hired or transferring to Whole Foods Market are expected to provide proof of receiving one COVID-19 vaccine dose. Failure to do so will result in a delay of their employment start date

Cash Checker have the duty of scanning barcodes, entering prices and providing customers with receipts and change as needed

Responsibilities:

• Undertakes opening, mid-shift, and closing tasks as directed and makes certain that all responsibilities are completed in a timely and effective manner. Additionally, the accuracy of signs and pricing is verified by this person.
• Proficient in utilizing the Front-End Code Book and PLUs: Possesses a sound understanding of mathematical concepts, possesses outstanding communication proficiencies, and exhibits a strong inclination to work effectively with others.
• To be successful in a work setting, one must have the competence to present information in a clear and courteous manner to team members, clients, and vendors.
• Meeting the demands and requirements of customer service should be a top priority in all customer, vendor, and Team Member interactions.
• Prior retail experience is not necessary for this role; however, successful applicants must exhibit exceptional organizational skills, time management abilities, and a capacity to follow instructions.
• Capability to work amidst moisture and low temperatures.
• Working flexible hours, potentially on weekends, evenings, or holidays, is a necessary component of this position.
• Knowledgeable in the handling and use of different equipment, including box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
