Catering Support Staff

Job Summary:

As a Catering Assistant at Chick-fil-A, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of catering orders. You will work closely with the catering leads to manage meal preparation, packaging, deliveries, and maintaining cleanliness in the catering area. In addition, you will support front-of-house and back-of-house operations during downtime. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, and a proactive, team-oriented attitude. Responsibilities:

• Help catering requests in delivering guest orders and managing the cleanliness of catering equipment and workspace
• Assist in maintaining the smooth operation of FOH and BOH functions when not specifically involved in catering assignments
• Provide customers with catering orders in a professional and accurate manner
• Adhere to the established guidelines for food safety and cleanliness
• Handle catering orders and confirm the accuracy of packaging and labeling information
• Utilize clear and concise communication approaches to engage effectively with customers, catering personnel, and store leaders
• Ensure that deliveries are executed promptly and catering preparations at the store level are completed on time
• Respect the stipulated availability timetable, especially during the core hours of Monday to Friday, encompassing either 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM for full-time positions or 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM for part-time roles, with work scheduled every other Saturday

Qualifications and Experience:

• Being over 18 years of age is mandatory
• A valid driver's license is a fundamental requirement
• A dependable mode of transportation is necessary if the company vehicle is unavailable
• Strong organizational competencies alongside clear communication abilities are vital for success
• Candidates who have previous customer service experience are favored
• Being proficient at working autonomously and in a team is a key asset
• Projects consistency, professionalism, and a positive mindset
• Kind-hearted, truthful, diligent, and cooperative within a team environment
